FB80' Record powerboat
The FB80’ Record is a powerboat that was designed by Fabio Buzzi from the Italian company FB Design. The idea behind the FB 80' RECORD has been to come up with a reliable and extremely strong large motor yacht capable of reaching speeds in excess of 60 knots with a range of well over 1000 miles. Since 2001 the FB80’ Record is the record holder of Venice – Monte Carlo, Monte Carlo – London and Round Britain.

The original FB80’ Record has a overall length of 24 meters, overall beam of 6 meter and is 5.20 meter in height. The propulsion of the FB80’ Record relied on 4 MTU engines, each 1500 Hp for a total of 6000 Hp. The crew of 2001 existed back than out of Hannes Bohinc, Fabio Buzzi, Dag Spike, Simon Powell, Gianfranco Zanoni, Federico Orlando, Alex Conti, Eric Hoorn and Elmar Fricker. The FB 80' is now being produced for the pleasure market in a joint project with OTAM shipyard and is available in a series of different luxurious layouts.
