Not that the Indian actress has had a lot of sex scandals but because she’s a newbie in Hollywood. Freida Pinto shines in SlumDog Millionaire
Freida Pinto (born 1984) was raised in Mumbay, India. Here she studied English literature at St. Xavier’s College. After completing her BA degree Freida Pinto started modelling for years and appeared in many runway shows and magazine covers. Freida Pinto had never acted on the big screen before and had just started auditioning for films in India. After six months she received a call from director Danny Boyle and pretty soon Freida Pinto was given the role of Latika in Slumdog Millionaire. The movie is already very successful and has won several awards until now including 7 BAFTA’s and 4 Golden Globe Awards.
