Big Game Fishing
Susanne is in Malta and she had the opportunity to join Big Game fisher Franky for a day. Big Game Fishing is all about the catch of the day. The bigger the fish the better. Susanne and Franky head for open sea to and try to catch some tuna. The tuna can weigh up to 14 kilo and that's pretty heavy.



Big Game Fishing
Fishing has been around for ages and since the first motor boat came around, Big Game Fishing was a fact. Big Game Fishing is a form of recreational fishing, and in this sport it’s all about the weight of the fish. During Big Game Fishing people usually fish on tuna or marlin.

Malta Game Fishing
Together with fisher Franky, Susanne heads out to open sea to find out what it’s like to be a Big Game Fisher. One thing is very important and that is patience. After a 3 hour wait, Susanne spotted movement in the water. Franky reacted wight away and hooked the tuna before it could slip away. Just a few moments later a second tuna turned up.

However, you have to be smart about Big Game fishing and only do it when you are allowed to. Tuna is an endangered fish species and we don't want tuna do become extinct. Get permission to fish!
